Salmon is a great source of protein: packed with B vitamins, Omega-3 fatty acids, and potassium. I usually have a serving about twice a week, and it's a super easy and delicious way to get all of those nutrients into your diet. Scroll down to read or download my quick and simple seared salmon recipe that is easy to pair with any sides!
Ingredients:
Wild-caught Atlantic salmon fillets
Garlic
Paprika
Butter
Olive oil
Lemon juice
Parsley
Salt
Pepper
Directions:
Dry your salmon fillets with a paper towel until moisture is gone.
Season your fillets with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Pour freshly squeezed lemon juice over each fillet.
Add olive oil into a pan (preferably non-stick) on the stove over medium-high heat.
Place each fillet with the skin side down and sear for about 4-5 minutes. Flip and sear the other side for an additional 2 minutes.
With the fillets still in the pan, add the butter, garlic, lemon juice, and parsley, and continually baste the fillets until fragrant.
Plate and garnish as desired. Enjoy!
